PADI Standard Courses
Open Water Diver
This course is designed to produce a diver who is competant in the use of Scuba equipment both in confined and open water conditions. The maximum depth for this course is 18 metres. You will undertake 3 stages in certification:
1. Academic Sessions - 5 sessions using course books and visual aids learning about theory and safety procedures
2. Confined Water Sessions - Consisting of 5 sessions, usually in a pool, to learn practical skills in a safe environment
3. Open Water Dives - Four open water dives converting the theory and skills learned in confined water conditions into real open water experiences.
PADI Open Water course normally last 4/5 days and may occupy 5 hrs a day. You will also have to take into account flying time, weather conditions and dive schedules.

Referral Course
If you have already completed section 1 and 2 of the PADI Open Course in the UK you are able to start section 3 dives straight away. All necessary diving equipment will be provided for the course, however the hire or purchase of course and log books plus certification fee may not be included and may have to be paid locally.

Advanced Diver
This course is designed to expand your knowledge and experience as a diver in open water and qualifies you to dive to a depth of 30 metres. The course consists of 5 dives, 3 compulsory (Navigation, Night Dive, Deep Dive) the others can be selected from wreck, multilevel, underwater naaturilist, boat, search and recovery, underwater recovery and peak performance.

Non Divers
Non Divers joining a diving boat pay £35 including snorkelling equipment, lunch and park fees.
